 Abstract:  The Henry B. Kelso collection consists of a single, slender bound journal that contains Ojibwa-English translations of some words, the numerical system from one to ten used by Winnebago's, and records of Kelso births for 1823 and 1826. The journal was compiled in Green Bay, Wisconsin beginning in 1822.
